Polonia, una buona location per l’‘high tech’ – (Poland, a good location for the ‘high tech’)

Questo è il messaggio chiave di un evento stampa organizzato da Evatronix, una delle più importanti aziende del mercato elettronico di questo Paese, in cooperazione con l’Agenzia polacca per lo sviluppo delle imprese (www.parp.gov.pl). Lo scopo del viaggio attraverso città come Cracovia, Bielsko-Biala e Danzica è stato mostrare ai giornalisti l’evoluzione dell’industria elettronica polacca, i processi e gli stabilimenti di produzione di alcune aziende chiave. Grazie alla posizione strategica in termini di vicinanza a città come Berlino, Varsavia, Budapest o Praga, l’alta frequenza dei voli di collegamento da Cracovia a Francoforte e altre città europee, al basso costo del lavoro e all’alta qualità delle università e dei laureati, la Polonia vuole giocare un ruolo chiave nel settore elettronico. Per esempio, Evatronix, situata in Bielsko-Biala, è un membro di consorzi industriali come ECSI e Virtual Component Exchange, partecipa a programmi come ACAP (Altera Consultants Alliance Program) e XPERTS e ha la sua principale attività nello sviluppo di IP core (Intellectual Property core) per un ampio numero di clienti. Gli IP core sono realizzati in differenti linee di prodotti, dai microcontroller 8-bit, ai processori 16-bit ai DSP core, per arrivare ai core per il networking o le interfacce di comunicazione come USB. Recentemente Evatronix ha completato questa attività con un’ampia gamma di servizi di progettazione di componenti elettronici, basata sulla modellazione HDL (linguaggi VHDL e Verilog) per lo sviluppo di dispositivi Fpga e SoC (System-on-Chip).

This is the key message of a press event organized by Evatronix, one of the most important companies in the electronics marketplace in this country, in cooperation with the Polish agency for enterprise development (www.parp.gov.pl). The aim of the trip through the cities like Cracow, Bielsko-Biala and Gdansk, has been to show journalists the evolution of the polish electronics industry, the processes and production facilities of some key companies. Thanks to the strategic position in terms of closeness to cities like Berlin, Warsaw, Budapest or Prague, the high frequency of connection flights from Cracow to Frankfurt and other european cities, the low cost of labor and the high quality of the universities and the graduates, Poland want to play a key role in the electronics area. For instance, Evatronix, headquartered in Bielsko-Biala, is a member of industrial consortia like ECSI and Virtual Component Exchange, participates in programs like ACAP (Altera Consultants Alliance Program) and XPERTS and has the main activity in development of IP cores (Intellectual Property core) for a wide number of customers. The IP cores are implemented in different product lines: from 8-bit microcontroller, 16-bit processors and DSP cores, to USB and networking cores. Recently Evatronix has been complemented this activity with an extensive offer of electronic design services based on HDL modeling (VHDL and Verilog languages) for the development of Fpga and SoC (System-on-Chip) devices.
