AMS Technologies broadens portfolio with pulsed fibre laser systems
AMS Technologies has added Swiss supplier Onefive’s ultrashort-pulse fibre lasers to its portfolio. Based on the agreement with Onefive, AMS Technologies now offers complete laser systems including extensive support to their European customers.
The portfolio of Onefive’s pulsed fibre lasers includes devices with pulse widths in the nanosecond, picosecond and femtosecond ranges and wavelengths from UV to infrared. Repetition rates range from pulse-on-demand up to 1.3 GHz and pulse energy from a few nanojoule up to more than 400 microjoule.
Due to their particularly compact, reliable and sealed construction combined with air-cooled, maintenance-free and reliable 24/7 operation, the lasers are suitable for “plug&play” applications in OEM solutions as well as research and science.
Based on the Onefive agreement, AMS can now meet its large industrial and scientific customer base’s high requirements also with complete, turnkey fibre laser systems for applications like micro material processing, laser surgery, medical treatments, THz generation, frequency-comb generation, spectroscopy, metrology and remote sensing.
