L’innovazione di AOS

Alpha and Omega Semiconductor (AOS) ha annunciato l’inaugurazione ufficiale del nuovo stabilimento Osat di Kaynes Semicon a Sanand, Gujarat, un passo particolarmente importante per l’avvio della produzione di nuovi moduli di potenza.

Presso la fabbrica è stato implementato il processo di produzione proprietario di AOS, operazione che costituisce l’inizio della produzione su larga scala e che allinea l’esperienza di AOS nel settore dei semiconduttori di potenza con gli obiettivi strategici della India Semiconductor Mission.

Lo stabilimento ha ufficialmente iniziato la produzione commerciale dei moduli IPM5 (Intelligent Power Modules). Questi elementi altamente sofisticati integrano 17 diversi chip in un unico package, fornendo i componenti per i controlli motore di nuova generazione e gli elettrodomestici a basso consumo energetico.

Gli ingegneri e gli esperti di produzione di AOS hanno inoltre collaborato con il team di Kaynes Semicon per accelerare l’implementazione delle capacità avanzate di packaging e test dei semiconduttori. L’aizenda precisa inoltr che i nuovi moduli non sono destinati solo al mercato interno indiano.
