Con le acquisizioni di quest’anno e in particolare, a giugno, quella di SBS Technologies e a settembre di Radstone Technology Plc, GE Fanuc Embedded Systems sta rafforzando la propria posizione nel mercato dei sistemi embedded. L’integrazione di Sbs ha infatti permesso alla società di allargare la propria offerta di prodotti nei settori delle schede embedded con svariati fattori di forma, delle architetture di bus e dei sistemi fabric. L’apporto di Radstone vale invece soprattutto per la sua specializzazione nella fornitura di componenti COTS (Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) ‘rugged’ ad alte prestazioni, sottosistemi e software di supporto per gli embedded computer, indirizzati agli OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) che devono servire il segmento di mercato militare e aerospaziale.

Come parte di GE Fanuc Automation, una joint venture fra General Electric (GE) e Fanuc Ltd Giappone, GE Fanuc Embedded Systems intende per il futuro soddisfare sempre meglio le necessità tecnologiche di settori orizzontali e verticali. L’azienda punterà soprattutto sulla fornitura di soluzioni embedded di alta qualità e su un supporto a livello mondiale, accreditato dal fatto di far parte di una società di lunga esperienza tecnica come General Electric.

With the acquisitions of this year and especially, in June, those of SBS Technologies and in September Radstone Technology Plc, GE Fanuc Embedded Systems is reinforcing its position in the embedded systems marketplace. The integration of Sbs allowed the company to extend the products offer in the fields of embedded boards in multiple form factors, bus architectures, and fabrics. The Radstone’s contribution is a key value, particularly for its specialization as provider of rugged, high-performance COTS (Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) embedded computer products, subsystems and support software, addressed to the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) that have to serve the military and aerospace market segment.
As a part of GE Fanuc Automation, a joint venture between General Electric (GE) and Fanuc LTD of Japan, GE Fanuc Embedded Systems wants for the future to meet ever better the technological needs of horizontal and vertical industries. The company will focus its activity especially on supplying of high quality embedded solutions and on a worldwide support, accredited by the fact to being part of General Electric.
