Sharp: high-definition 16:9 wide displays

Sharp has announced the availability of three new wide aspect ratio (16:9) Sharp LCD displays, the Full-HD 18.5-inch LQ185M3LW01, the Full-HD 15.6-inch LQ156M3LW01, and the HD 15.6-inch LQ156T3LW03. The new displays offer high contrast, wide viewing angles, and PWM dimmable LED backlight for exceptional performance in a number of different settings.

The new displays boast an integrated backlight driver together with a replaceable LED backlight giving brightness levels of 400 nits and service lives of up to 70,000 hours. Together with their wide 170 degree viewing angles and large colour gamut, these durable displays are well-suited to a range of demanding industrial settings. Sharp offers a full range of industrial LCDs from 1 to 31.5 inches used in advertising, banking, in- vehicle systems, climate control, factory automation, gambling and lottery machines, fitness equipment, home automation, in-flight entertainment, industrial controls, info points, medical devices, multimedia, point of sale terminals, transportation, testing and measurement equipment, wearable technology, white goods, and many other areas.
