Kontron: new Thin Mini-ITX motherboard
Kontron has announced a new Thin Mini-ITX motherboard based on Intel Atom E39xx and Celeron N3350 CPUs (Apollo Lake generation).
Typical applications are for Point of Sale or Point of Information scenarios, digital signage, medical technology and industrial automation.
The mITX-APL includes LVDS 24Bit Dual Channel and two Display Port 1.2 interfaces, a SO-DIMM DDR3L-1867 socket for up to 8 GB memory, a full-size mPCIe slot, CAN Bus and eMMC support. To protect applications and licenses, the new embedded board is equipped with a TPM 2.0 chip. The Kontron mITX-APL embedded motherboard offers a power consumption from 6 to 12W.
The new mITX-APL board is a part of the Kontron Security Solution Line. Applications are protected against unwanted access and make possible creating, managing, and tracking licenses. At the same time, priviliges can be assigned and access levels defined.
The long-term availability of all mITX-APL components is a feature of all Kontron embedded solutions which is an other important factor.
