With the PN and PJ series, Samsung Electro-Mechanics (SEMCO) offers High Cap MLCCs for a wide range of High Cap MLCC where reliability plays a crucial role, including safety and infotainment.

Thanks to their soft termination, these capacitors, available by Rutronik, can absorb external physical stresses and prevent short circuits. For added reliability, all Samsung automotive class 2 MLCCs have an additional metal-epoxy termination layer. Both series are AEC-Q200 qualified.

The PN series is part of the standard automotive range. It convinces with a guaranteed bending limit of up to 3mm in the AEC-Q200 Board Flex Test.

Due to an additional metal epoxy layer, the PJ series achieves a bending limit of up to 5 mm in the AEC-Q200 Board Flex Test.

Furthermore, the series is qualified according to VW 808080-2, which allows the use of the components in fail-safe applications such as direct connection to terminal 30.
