Advantest named a 2018 Thomson Reuters Top 100 Global Technology Leader
Advantest Corporation has announced that it has been recognized as a 2018 Top 100 Global Technology Leader by Thomson Reuters.
The inaugural program identifies the tech industry’s most operationally sound and financially successful organizations. Thomson Reuters assessed over 5,000 technology companies around the world to select its top 100, using a 28-point data-driven algorithm to objectively identify organizations with the fortitude for the future in today’s complex business environment. The methodology is based on eight principle pillars of performance: Financial, Management and Investor Confidence, Risk and Resilience, Legal Compliance, Innovation, People and Social Responsibility, Environmental Impact, and Reputation. 45 of the top 100 companies are based in the USA, with Advantest one of 13 Japanese companies to be honored.
President Yoshiaki Yoshida of Advantest said, “This honor validates our management philosophy of consistently delivering ‘technology support on the leading edge.’ We are very pleased to be named one of the top 100 technology companies in the world, and I credit this recognition to the excellent day-by-day performance of our 4,500 employees worldwide.”
