Veneto Nanotech, pioniere italiano nelle nanotecnologie, e IMAST, centro di ricerca e ingegnerizzazione sui materiali polimerici e compositi, rinnovano Nanochallenge & Polymerchallenge 2008.
L’evento si propone come “fucina d’imprenditori” capace di coinvolgere i più importanti appassionati sulle nanotecnologie e sui materiali polimerici quali ricercatori, dottorandi, studenti, piccoli imprenditori, tecnici e ingegneri di giovani industrie in un ambiente che può aiutarli a esprimere le loro idee e guidarli al successo imprenditoriale.
Le edizioni passate hanno attratto partecipanti dalle più importanti università e dai più blasonati centri di ricerca del mondo, che hanno valutato l’evento come una delle più importanti opportunità oggi esistenti a livello mondiale per ricevere un concreto aiuto al successo imprenditoriale grazie alla possibilità di raccogliere competenze e attrarre investimenti mirati dalle società private.
L’evento è giunto alla 4a edizione, mentre i precedenti vincitori hanno già avviato le loro nuove start-up e, inoltre, circa 20 milioni di euro sono stati erogati dai finanziatori ai partecipanti e alle industrie coinvolte. Quest’anno sono stati messi in palio montepremi per ben 600.000 Euro. Chiunque abbia idee innovative sulle nanotecnologie e sui materiali polimerici può partecipare e concorrere a uno dei due premi da 300.000 euro, con i quali potrà ambire ad attivare rapidamente una start-up di successo in Italia.
Veneto Nanotech, the Italian Cluster for Nanotechnology, and IMAST, the Italian Technological District on Engineering of Polymeric and Composite Materials and Structures, renew Nanochallenge and Poymerchallenge 2008.
Nanochallenge is intended as an “entrepreneurship womb” involving important players in nanotech and advanced polymer-based materials field, such as talented researchers, phd students, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and successful start-ups, in an environment that fosters aspiring business ideas.
Nanochallenge past editions managed to attract participants from important Universities and Research Centres world-wide. Our past participants consider this event a great opportunity that has sharpened their business insight and provided them with the necessary skills, competences and networking in order to attract the international nanotech arena and investments from private companies.
The competition has come to its 4th edition and the winners of the past edition have already established their start-ups; about 20 million Euro have been rise by participants from venture capitalists and industrials firms. This edition offers Grand Prizes for a total amount of € 600.000. Anybody anywhere with an innovative and high-growth nanotechnology or polymer-based materials business idea can participate and try to win one of the 2 Grand Prizes of € 300,000 each, using the money to start operations in Italy.
