Provertha expands its comprehensive D-Sub connector range by offering customised products and special solutions for customers, who increasingly request adapted solutions for their projects.
The appropriate contacts were selected from the modular system of the Provertha D-Sub range with various stamping and injection moulding tools for different connection types, and modifications to insulators with an increase in air gaps and creepage distances were implemented, which now provide the customer with a solution that meets their demanding requirements.
Provertha was able to realise a customised press-fit D-sub with the special installation height of 5.7 mm and a special colour. The customer received a customised solution by modifying an insulator to the lower installation height requested by the customer in combination with the special housing colour for their application and the selection of the matching press-fit contact.
